Established in 1993, the Shanghai Technology Exchange (STEX) is the first permanent national technology market and national technology transfer demonstration organization, jointly established by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. Being a national trading institution for intellectual property rights and scientific and technological achievements, accredited by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council, Shanghai Technology Exchange ("STEX") is based in Shanghai, serves the whole China and is open to the world. STEX organizes technological transaction services in accordance with the law, offering comprehensive one-stop transaction settlement and certification services, and actively promoting the industrialization of science and technology achievements.
